- A demonstration of an acoustic levitator for the classroom (demo)

- Electrifying the Circuits Unit

- A Study of the Effects of Particle Mass and Friction in Avalanches of Granular Piles

AAPT SEPS Fall 2022 Meeting Registration

The registration for our Fall Meeting is now open!


Have a talk, demonstration, or poster you would like to share? Submit the title when registering!


The cost to register for Saturday’s events is $50, plus $10 for SEPS membership fees if you have not already paid for 2022. (SEPS dues are waived for first-time attendees.)

You can pay by check, payable to AAPT-SEPS, on the day of the meeting.

AAPT SEPS Fall 2022 Meeting Details

Details about our Fall Meeting, hosted by Villanova University and with a Friday evening event being held in conjunction with the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers (https://www.dvaa.org/) are now available! See the attached flyer for details...and don't be bashful about sharing it with your colleagues!


Some highlights!

Friday Night @ the Radnor Township Building (301 Iven Ave, Wayne, PA 19087) from 7:00 - 9:30 PM (some portions of the meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube).

- A talk by Dr. Joey Neilsen, Villanova University, titled “The Shadow of a Sleeping Giant”


Saturday @ Villanova University from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

- Invited Speakers: Barry Feierman "Challenging Labs for High School" and Nicole Castilleja Bentley from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory "Opportunities for Collaboration at PNNL"
